A general website builder gives you a desktop page and shrinks it. An Instagram website builder should start from the opposite end, because almost everyone who sees your page will see it on a phone, inside Instagram's own in-app browser, on a mobile connection.

What being mobile first actually changed
- Text inputs are 16px. Below that iOS zooms the page when a visitor taps a field, and does not zoom back out.
- Nothing is sized against the viewport in a way that moves. Card heights use the stable viewport unit, so the snap points do not shift as the browser chrome hides.
- Buttons are 52px tall. The documented minimum is 44. This is the only thing on the card worth tapping, so it gets the room.
- One photograph loads eagerly. The first card's background is prioritised and every other one waits, so the page is readable before the rest arrive.
- The forms work without JavaScript. In-app browsers are unpredictable and a sign-up form that needs a script is a sign-up form that sometimes does nothing.
It is a real website, so Google can read it
Your page is server-rendered HTML with its own title, description and canonical URL. On the Pro plan you write the title and description yourself. That matters if you want the page found by anything other than the link in your bio.

Will it work inside the Instagram browser?
Yes. That is the case it is built for, including the parts of it that are awkward: no cookies for attribution, no reliance on JavaScript for forms, and no layout that depends on viewport height behaving consistently.
Can I add my Instagram feed to the page?
Not today. You can link to your profile from a links card, and add a gallery of your own photographs.
